BBDO Guerrero wins “Agency of the Year” at the Tinta Awards
At the Tinta Awards night held at the Manila Hotel on October 22, BBDO Guerrero emerged as the leading agency winning Best of Print and the most awards overall to be named Agency of the Year. The Tinta awards are given by the United Print Media Group (UPMG), an organization of over 100 print media titles.
The seven-member print jury was headed by Dave Ferrer, ECD of JWT Manila and included Y&R Asia Pacific CCO Marcus Rebischini, Andrew Petch of Ace Saatchi, Joey Tiempo of TBWA\SMP, Gary Amante of Dentsu and Raoul Panes of Leo Burnett.
Best of Print went to BBDO Guerrero’s work for Esquire Magazine. The campaign promoted the “Ringo” issue relating to the 1966 The Beatles concert in Manila. The ads were also recognized for Art Direction and Typography. Other campaigns to win multiple awards included Bayer Philippines’ Saridon and the Manila Bulletin newspaper.
BBDO Guerrero is also currently Agency of the Year at Campaign Asia, the Kidlat Awards and the Philippine 4As Agency of the Year Awards.
