BBDO Guerrero kicks off ‘Heels of Steel’ with Mara Lecocq
In commemoration of International Women’s Month, BBDO Guerrero locally launched “Heels of Steel” – a BBDO Asia initiative that features female leaders who inspire progress and optimism in the workplace.
As the first in a series of invited speakers under this program, BBDO Guerrero invited Mara Lecocq, a New York based Creative and founder of “Secret Code”, a customizable children’s book, which won a grant from Sophia Amoruso’s Girlboss Foundation, and coverage from Fast Company, Mashable, Inc. and Elle.
She is also the founder of “Where Are The Boss Ladies”, a crowd-sourced list of female executive leaders in advertising, and has been nominated as one of the Top 10 brilliant women in advertising by Campaign magazine contributors.
At BBDO Guerrero, Lecocq shared her personal journey in discovering purpose—and success—through side projects that truly speak to the soul. She answered questions and offered career advice on how to navigate the workplace. She shared how finding fulfillment and going after your passions can lead to a raise, a promotion, or a next career move.
