The most awarded Philippine agency at Cannes
At the recently concluded Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the Philippines took home five Lions. The highest number of Lions awarded to the country since 2007. We contributed four. The most our shop has ever won at Cannes. As a network, BBDO won a total of 81 Lions with work from 27 agencies, more than ever before. This is despite the tough competition of over 34,000 entries (which is also more than ever before).
Pepsi’s A Liter of Light project became the country’s most awarded campaign – ever. It won the country’s first silver Lion in Direct and the first bronze Lion in Promo & Activations. The same campaign won a bronze in Media, and a shortlist in Outdoor.
Bayer Saridon’s TV campaign was awarded bronze Film Lion for “Hammer”, “Pound”, and “Stamp”. It was also the country’s first branded Film Lion.
Meanwhile, WWF-Philippines won a Cannes ACT Tribute, awarded to the best responsible advertising campaigns, for “Fan Corals”. It was voted as the 2ndBest Print by visitors of the ACT Responsible Exhibition in Cannes.
