The Philippines. 7,107 islands filled with natural wonders, fantastic beaches and friendly people. So when you ask someone, "Why should I visit the Philippines?" you'd probably get 7,107 different answers. This made it quite tricky for the Deparatment of Tourism to sum up everything cool about the country in one campaign. You see, The Philippines has got everything its neighbours have and more except for a single answer to why people should come on over. Well, we came up with one: It's more fun in the Philippines. Pedigree Puppy Love

On September 30th, Proximity Shop put together a doggie festival of sorts for Pedigree at Bonifacio High Street shopping district in Taguig City. Puppy Love marked their first ever event dedicated to educating dog lovers about raising and caring for their pets. Owners showcased their pets to the delight of shoppers and passers-by.

BBDO Guerrero tops the Adobo Creative Rankings

The 2011 adobo Creative Rankings are out and BBDO Guerrero came out on top, just when we thought this month could not get any better. The rankings, put together by Adobo Magazine, are compiled based on awards won in local and international advertising festivals. Being consistently one of the most awarded Philippine agencies at those events was enough to make us happy, but ranking No. 1 across the board was the cherry on top. Last night at the 6th Adobo Nights held at the Opus Restaurant & Lounge, we were recognized with awards for our performance in the rankings.

Parlez-vous français?

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Digital Photographer and Lonely Planet Magazine hosted an online competition for writers and photographers last month. The stakes: an all expense paid trip to Toulouse, France on a travel assignment that will be featured in Lonely Planet Philippines' December 2012 issue. Two photographers and one writer are going to France this year, and that writer happens to be our oftentimes quirky and sometimes mental copywriter Rachel Teotico. She's quite the avid traveler having already been in and out of the Philippines three times this year but we're sure that doesn't douse her excitement over this win one bit. The Olympics are over and our heroes have come home to rest their bones and keep fit for the next round of competitions. However, there is a different class of athlete who trains and competes selflessly every day, our mothers. For them, the Olympics of daily life never really ends and Anlene knows this much.
