BBDO Worldwide is named Spikes Asia 2018 Network of the Year

BBDO has been named the 2018 Network of the Year in Spikes Asia – the region’s most prestigious and largest festival recognizing excellence in marketing creativity and effectivity.

This is the fifth year in a row for BBDO to receive this recognition.

BBDO Guerrero was awarded a Bronze for the “Wrong World Finals” work for Snickers, which showed that you may be watching the wrong finals when you’re hungry. Knowing that Snickers could not do a direct plug for the World Cup, based on sponsorship agreements, this was a quick and smart way for the brand to engage with consumers.

On top of this, two of BBDO Guerrero’s creative stars, Andi Olbés and Nikki Sunga, finished fourth in the Young Spikes Design Competition, up against a total of ten teams that qualified in the region.
