BBDO Guerrero celebrates the beaches of the Philippines in newest DOT TV spot

The Philippines has one of the longest coastlines in the world, at more than 36,000 kilometers.  It includes the country’s most popular beaches and the world’s most loved tourist destinations. The Philippines’ beautiful coastline is one of many reasons for drawing huge numbers of tourists every year.

BBDO Guerrero featured this in their latest work for the Philippine Department of Tourism, along with the different types of activities you can do at the beach and why #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines. In a seamless, cinematic piece which was shot across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, the film directed by Luis Tabuena highlights the exciting places to explore in the Philippines.

The spot is accompanied by an original musical score by award-winning composer Malek Lopez.

Philippine Department of Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat shares, “Our award-winning and internationally-acclaimed beaches are a great introduction of our country to foreign tourists.  With this, we hope to continue the double-digit increase in tourist arrivals to the country, an upward trend we’ve been enjoying this year.”

BBDO Guerrero Creative Chairman David Guerrero says, “This is the first of a series we are excited to share, featuring different aspects of the country.  We look forward to inviting more people to be part of the fun.”
