BBDO Guerrero Achieves Unprecedented Success at International Spikes Advertising Festival
BBDO Guerrero was considered the third most successful agency in the whole of the Asia Pacific region at the prestigious Spikes Asia 2012 advertising festival held in Singapore.
Spikes Asia is the leading festival and awards for advertising and communications in the region and BBDO Guerrero collected nine awards across a variety of its clients. They won three Golds and a Silver for their campaign for Pepsi’s collaboration with MyShelter Foundation’s Liter Of Light project. These awards came across a variety of categories – winning in Media, Direct and Outdoor Ambient with the Silver in the Promo & Activation category.
The Agency also won a Gold Spike for their already globally-acclaimed “Persistent Headaches” campaign for Bayer Philippines’ Saridon, in the highly-contested Film category. Saridon also won two Silver Spikes for is print and outdoor campaigns respectively.
Finally, BBDO Guerrero also won two Bronze Spikes for the Department of Tourism’s hugely popular “It’s More Fun In The Philippines” campaign, which were awarded in the digital and integrated categories.
When the judges analysed the results of all the awards, BBDO Guerrero’s wins meant that they were the third best performing creative agency in the entire Asia Pacific region – this from 4680 entries across 23 countries.
This also contributed to BBDO regaining the title of Network of the year for their performance across all their winning offices.
This comes at the end of a successful month for BBDO Guerrero Having won the Grand Prix at the Adstars International Advertising Festival in Busan, Korea and being the most successful digital agency at IMMAP’s “Boomerang” awards.
